Youth Representatives Profiles
Angkor Sankranta (Traditional Khmer New Year)
For Angkor Sankranta, the Traditional Khmer New Year, the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia organised activities. Participants included the Green Youth Group. The activities for Angkor Sankranta involved raising awareness of and being role models in cleaning up tourist sites that locals visit during Traditional New Year.
 
No Plastic in My Green Home
Organized by Pannasastra Student Senate (PASS), the No Plastic in My Green Home programme aimed to raise environmental awareness through its activities. Participants came from the Chong Kneas Community, Siem Reap Province, and were involved in raising awareness of using cloth bags instead of plastic bags, cleaning the Chong Kneas riverside areas, and other environmental protection campaigns.

Waste Management Essay Competition
The Waste Management Essay Competition was organised by the Fulbright and Undergraduate State Alumni Association of Cambodia (FUSAAC). High school and university students were encouraged to submit essays which addressed waste management practices and possible solutions.

World Environment Day 2013
Find out what SEAYEN representatives from Cambodia as well as other countries in the area organised for World Environment Day 2013.
 
29th Youth Environmental Debate
The 29th Youth Environmental Debate was organised by the Ministry of Environment and involved International University, Royal University of Agriculture, and Svay Rieng University. Participants discussed climate change practices and measures in the coastal zone of Cambodia.
